perianesthesia
(per″e-an″es-the´zhә) the time from just before anesthesia is administered through the postanesthesia period.

perianesthesia nurse
a nurse who cares for patients during the period before and after anesthesia; see also postanesthesia nurse.

a round, slowly expanding granulomatous lesion next to the root apex of a tooth, usually a complication of pulpitis. It consists of a proliferating mass of chronic inflammatory tissue within a fibrous capsule that is an extension of the periodontal ligament. Called also apical granuloma and dental granuloma.
