
Xuanhanosaurus (meaning `Xuanhan lizard`) is a genus of theropod dinosaur which lived during the Jurassic of China. The type species Xuanhanosaurus qilixiaensis was named by Dong Zhiming in 1984. Xuanhanosaurus was a dinosaur of the Jurassic period. It is only poorly known from a few bones which indicate a dinosaur related to Allosaurus, from which one may infer Xuanhanosaurus was a carnivore, about six metres long, that walked on its hind legs.
