Tyndareus was the king of Sparta. He was deposed by his brother Hippocoon, and reinstated by Hercules.

Tyndareus

The Tyndareus was a British steam ship of 11000 tons displacement of the Ocean Steamship Company. In 1917, while carrying a battalion of the Middlesex Regiment she struck a mine off Cape Agulhas, South Africa, but with no loss of life.
