nucleolin

A major nucleolar protein (100 kD) that functions as a shuttle protein between nucleus and cytoplasm and is also found on the cell surface. Nucleolin binds midkine and heparin-binding growth associated molecule (HB-GAM).

Nucleolin

Nucleolin is a protein that in humans is encoded by the NCL gene. == Gene == The human NCL gene is located on chromosome 2 and consists of 14 exons with 13 introns and spans approximately 11kb.
