
(pronounced LAB-ro-SAWR-us) Labrosaurus meaning greedy lizard) is an invalid name for Allosaurus, a huge, meat-eating dinosaur from the late Jurassic period , about 156 to 135 million years ago. It was a theropod that liv ed in what is now the western United States.
