Agro-silvo-pastoralLand use system in which woody perennials are grown with agricultural crops, forage crops, and livestock production.
AgroforestryLand use system in which woody perennials are grown for wood production with agricultural crops, with or without animal production.
African Swine FeverA highly contagious viral disease of pigs. It is characterised by fever, refusal to eat, foul-smelling diarrhoea, eye discharge, distressed breathing and general weakness. The disease may be acute, particularly in young pigs, and death may occur in few days. The disease may also take a chronic form, mainly in older pigs, which remain ill for a long period and lose condition. Ticks transmit the disease.
