Wengen

Wengen (veng'un) , mountain resort, Bern canton, S central Switzerland, in the Bernese Alps. It is a summer and winter recreation area. The nearby Wengern Alp. (veng'urn älp) , at 6,160 ft (1,878 m), has a beautiful view of the Jungfrau peak.
