Generalizations about a group of people in which the same characteristics are assigned to all members of a group.
Thinking all people who belong to a certain group are the same and labelling them, e.g. all young people who wear hoodies are thugs and all effeminate men are gay.
Beliefs about people based on their membership in a particular group.
