A negative regulator of the Wnt signalling pathway. Binds to APC (adenomatous polyposis coli protein) and to b -catenin and regulates the stability of the catenin. Interacts directly with glycogen synthase kinase-3 (GSK-3) and promotes GSK-3 phosphorylation of b -catenin, which is then degraded.
