Early commercial colour photography process in which the principals of additive colour synthesis were applied. 
In photography, a single-plate additive colour process devised by the Lumière brothers in 1903. It was the first commercially available process, in use 1907–35
a material once used for color photography, consisting of a photographic emulsion applied over a multicolored screen of minute starch grains dyed red, green, and blue-violet.
