WSDL

Web Services Definition Language. An XML format for describing Web Services. Defined by the W3C. They can be either document-oriented or procedure-oriented. WSDL is extensible to allow description of services independent of message formats or network protocols. In practice the WSDL formats currently defined are based on SOAP, HTTP and MIME.
