The red grape variety is an interspecific new variety between(Seyanets Malengra x Amurensis) x Cabernet Sauvignon. It contains genes from Vitis amurensis and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed in 1964 in the former USSR(Russia). In 2016 no stock was reported (statistics Kym Anderson).
