The Tupy (Tupi) was an Italian-built Brazilian submarine of 620 tons displacement launched in 1936 as the Neghelli. The Tupy was powered by Fiat diesel engines providing a top speed of 14 knots surfaced and 7.5 knots submerged. She carried a complement of 37 and was armed with one 3.9 inch gun, two 13 mm machine-guns and six 21-inch torpedo tubes.
