The Tikuma was a Japanese second class cruiser of 8500 tons displacement launched in 1938. The Tikuma was powered by eight Kanpon boilers providing a top speed of 33 knots. She carried a complement of 850, four aircraft, and was armed with twelve 6.1 inch guns; eight 5-inch anti-aircraft guns and twelve machine-guns.
