The Stord was a British-built Norwegian destroyer of 1796 tons displacement launched in 1943 as HMS Success. The Stord was powered by two 3-drum type boilers providing a top speed of 36 knots and carried a complement of 220. She was armed with four 4.7 inch guns; ten 20 mm anti-aircraft guns and eight 21 inch torpedo tubes arranged in two quads.
