Style of 16th century armor otherwise known as Yukinoshita-do made famous by its extensive use in the army of Date Masamune (of Sendai, Mutsu). Also known as kanto-do and oshu-do. This style of armor was notable for its ease of construction and the ability to customize its appearance based on the rank of the owner.
