Sub-Network Dependent Convergence Protocol - generic term derived from OSI for a protocol which allows different higher layer protocols to be carried on a specific lower layer protocol. The GPRS SNDCP carries IP and X.25 over the GSM or UMTS RAN between the SGSN and the mobile (either MS or UE).
