Riojasaurus was a herbivore dinosaur of the Triassic period. Riojasaurus was about ten metres long, had a small head and long neck and tail and a massive body supported by four stout legs. The toes were armed with claws. Remains of Riojasaurus were found in Argentina.

Riojasaurus La Rioja lizard from Late Triassic and Early Jurassic northwest Argentinas La Rioja Province in the Los Colorados Formation. Formerly known as Strenusaurus. Named by Argentinian paleontologist José Bonaparte in 1969.
