Pinacosaurus

Pinacosaurus (`plank lizard`) is a genus of medium-sized ankylosaur dinosaurs that lived from the late Santonian to the late Campanian stages of the late Cretaceous Period (roughly 80–75 million years ago), in Mongolia and China. Pinacosaurus

Pinacosaurus was a dinosaur of the Cretaceous period. Remains of Pinacosaurus were discovered in Mongolia during the 1920's and reveal an armoured animal, about five metres long related to Ankylosaurus, with a parrot-like beak and very small teeth.
