Philadelphians logo #21217The Philadelphians were a sect founded in London in 1652 to spread the influence of Jakob Boehme, and to show forth 'brotherly love'. Its founders were Jane Leade and John Pordage. For a time they found followers among both Royalists and Parliamentarians as well as supporters in Germany and Holland, but the sect expired in the 18th century.
