HMAS Parramatta was an Australian escort sloop of 1060 tons displacement launched in 1939. HMAS Parramatta carried a complement of 100 and was powered by two Admiralty 3-drum type oil fuelled boilers providing a top speed of 16.5 knots. She was armed with two 4-inch anti-aircraft guns and machine guns.
