Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing. A spread-spectrum technique for radio communications, like CDMA. Unlike CDMA in that is a form of Multi-Carrier Modulation (MCM) dividing the data into several parallel bit streams, each of which has a lower bit rate, and modulating several carriers, each with an equal share of the original bit stream. A form of inverse multiplexing in RF.
