The Neoproterozoic Era is the unit of geologic time from {Ma|Neoproterozoic|Cambrian}. The terminal Era of the formal Proterozoic Eon (or the informal `Precambrian`), it is further subdivided into the Tonian, Cryogenian, and Ediacaran Periods.
