Marshosaurus A “Marsh’s lizard” from Late Jurassic North America. It was named in honor of Othniel Charles Marsh (1831-1899), a noted American paleontoloist and dinosaur scholar. Named by U. S. paleontologist James H. Madsen in 1976.
