The Kriti was a British-built Greek Themistoklis Class destroyer of 1050 tons displacement launched in 1941 as HMS Hursley. The Kriti was powered by two 3-drum type oil-fired boilers providing a top speed of 27 knots and carried a complement of 168. She was armed with six 4 inch guns; one four barrelled pompom and three 20 mm anti-aircraft guns.
