Ischisaurus was a dinosaur of the Triassic period. Ischisaurus was about two metres long, walked on its hind legs and had short arms and was one of the earliest dinosaurs yet discovered.

Ischisaurus “Ischigualasco lizard” from Late Triassic Ischigualasco Valley and Triassic rock formations of northwest Argentina. This name is now known as Herrerasaurus. Named by Osvaldo A. Sauvage Reig in 1963.
