Hemmema logo #21217Hemmemas were a Swedish type of warship in use around 1760. Hemmemas had three masts, lateen-rigged and roughly 26 pairs of oars and were designed for use in the shallow channels of the Finnish archipelago. Hemmemas were armed with twenty-four 36 pounder guns and two 12 pounder guns and carried a crew of about 80.
