
The Gruno was a Dutch armoured gunboat of 540 tons displacement launched in 1913 and sunk in action with German aircraft at the Zuider Zee in May 1940 during the invasion of Holland during the Second World War. The Gruno carried a complement of 52 and was - after 1934 - powered by two sets of Sulzer diesel engines providing a top speed of 14 knots....
