Gortawee (also called Scotchtown) is a townland in the Parish of Tomregan, Barony of Tullyhaw, County Cavan, Ireland. The townland name is an anglicisation of the Gaelic placename `Gort Aodh Bhuide” which means ‘Hugh Boy’s Field’.
