Elaphrosaurus A light (lightweight) lizard from Late Jurassic and Early Cretaceous Algeria, Tanzania, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, south-central Niger, and North America. The Greek elaphros, nimble, light-weight, fleet named for its light, slender body. Named by Verner Janensch in 1920.
