The Deutschland was a German aircraft carrier of 19250 tons displacement launched in 1938. The Deutschland had a top speed of 32 knots and carried 40 aircraft. She was armed with sixteen 5.9 inch guns; ten 4.1 inch anti-aircraft guns and twenty-two 37 mm anti-aircraft guns.
