The Cauvery was an Indian sloop of 1470 tons displacement launched in 1943. The Cauvery was powered by two 3-drum type boilers providing a top speed of 19 knots and carried a complement of 214. She was armed with six 4 inch dual-purpose guns; two 40 mm anti-aircraft guns and two 20 mm anti-aircraft guns.
