
Antarctosaurus (s; meaning `southern lizard`) is a genus of titanosaurian sauropod dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous Period of what is now South America. Antarctosaurus was a dinosaur of the Cretaceous period. Remains were first found in 1929, and have been found in South America and possibly Asia. Antarctosaurus was a herbivore about 18 metres long, with a very long tail, long neck and walked on all fours.
