Amargasaurus (s; `La Amarga lizard`) is a genus of dicraeosaurid sauropod dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous Period (129.4–122.46 mya) of what is now South America. It was small for a sauropod, reaching 10 meters (33 feet) length. It would have been a quadrupedal herbivore with a long, low skull on the end of a long neck, much like its relativ.....

(pronounced uh-MARG-uh-SAWR-us) Amargasaurus was a diplodocid sauropod from the early Cretaceous period, about 131 million-125 million years ago. It was about 33 feet (10 m) long and weighed roughly 5000 kg. It had a double row of spines along its neck, back, and tail.
