The white grape variety comes from Greece. Synonyms are Lampanzona, Perlina d'Inverno, Petrachladi, Prunesta Rosso Violacea and Uva Ruggia. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2013, it comes from a presumably natural cross between Uva Sogra x Caccio di Fermo Nero.
