A unit of measurement used in Cuba (also called Bocoya or Bocoyo) with a capacity of 175 US gallons or 663 litres. In Spain, however, the sherry barrel type Bota with a capacity of 500 litres is also referred to in this way. See also barrel types and wine containers.
