
HMAS Waterhen was an Australian destroyer of 1100 tons displacement built in Britain in 1918 and transferred to the Royal Australian Navy in 1932. HMAS Waterhen carried a complement of 134 and was powered by oil burning boilers providing a top speed of 34 knots. She was armed with four 4-inch guns; five smaller guns and six 21-inch torpedo tubes.
