
The Viatka is an endangered species of Russian pony. They stand between 13 and 14 hands high, occur in chestnut roam, bay roam or dun colour and are a hardy pony with great stamina. They are gentle and good natured, willing and very easy to handle. The locals use them for riding, driving, pulling troikas and for light agricultural work.
