trichomadesis The falling out of hair which may lead to alopecia. Baldness, absence of the hair from skin areas where it normally is present. The loss of hair (especially on the head) or loss of wool or feathers; in humans it can result from heredity or hormonal imbalance, or certain diseases or drugs and medical treatments.
