The Sirataka was a Japanese minelayer of 1345 tons displacement launched in 1929.The Sirataka was powered by two Kanpon boilers providing a top speed of 16 knots and was armed with three 4.7 inch anti-aircraft guns and one machine-gun. In addition to being equipped for laying mines she was also fitted for laying anti-submarine nets.
