The SfLQI is an initiative funded by the national Learning and Skills Council, being carried out by a consortium of organisations led by CfBT, and including NRDC, LSDA, LLU+, NIACE, CTAD and others. The two major aims for 2004-05 were: ensuring the professionalism of the Skills for Life workforce; building a whole-organisation approach to Skills for Life development to ensure the entire organisation takes a responsibility for Skills for Life.
