The Paysandu was a Uruguayan patrol vessel of 180 tons displacement launched in 1935. The Paysandu was powered by two sets of diesel engines providing a top speed of 17 knots. She carried a complement of 51 and was armed with two 3 inch guns; two 47 mm anti-aircraft guns and two machine-guns.
