
Iberia heat-tolerance test. A measure of adaptation to high temperatures as shown by the least rise in body temperature. The rectal temperature in animals is measured in degrees Fahrenheit at 10 am. and 3 pm. on each of three days when the air is still and in clear sunshine; the ambient temperature should be 85-90°F.
