Boier logo #21217A boier was a 16th and 17th century Dutch type of bulk-carrier merchant ship. The boier was of about 100 tons displacement, with two masts the mainmast with spritsail, square topsail and jib, the mizzen with a lateen sail. Boiers carried a crew of between four and six and were used for short sea journeys.
