Sundowning
A state of increased agitation, activity, and negative behavior that develops late in the day and through the evening hours.

Dementia
A deterioration of intellectual faculties e.g. memory, concentration and judgment resulting from an organic disease or disorder of the brain and often accompanied by emotional disturbances and personality changes.

Respite Care
Short-term, temporary care provided to people with disabilities in order that their families can take a break from the daily routine of caregiving. Unlike child care, respite services may sometimes involve overnight care for an extended period of time.
