HESA-HESES reconciliationEach year, for every higher education institution, we re-create a HESES return using the final HESA individualised student data for the year. Where there are significant differences between the original and re-created HESES return, institutions are selected to reconcile the two. This reconciliation process can result in funding changes for institutions
