Bhutanese refugees

Bhutanese refugees are Lhotshampas (`southerners`), a group of people of Nepali origin, including some Kirat, Tamang, and Gurung peoples. These refugees registered in refugee camps in eastern Nepal during the 1990s as Bhutanese citizens deported from Bhutan.
