    The Xauen was a British-built former trawler of 750 tons displacement launched in 1918 as the Henry Cramwell purchased by Spain as a coastguard vessel in 1922. The Xauen was coal powered providing a top speed of 10 knots and carried a complement of 39. She was armed with two 3 inch guns.
