(pronounced teer-ah'-j) Champagne production term describing the first bottling step of the new wine which will eventually turn it into champagne or sparkling wine.

Tirage

French term for the process in which the addition of the Tirage-liqueur (liqueur de tirage) and the Yeasts carried to the wine, the second fermentation trigger. In some cases, is thus also referred to the entire period in which superimposed on the sparkling wine after fermentation on the yeast. See under dosage .
