   Quezal
   The quezal or quetzal (Pharomacrus mocinno) is a beautiful bird of the Trogon family found in Central America. It is about the size of a magpie and the male has tail-feathers which are an emerald green colour and are about one metre long. The quezal lives in forests and feeds on fruits.
